What is Inclusive Access?

Inclusive Access is a program selected by your instructor that provides your required course materials digitally through Brightspace at a reduced price. You receive access automatically on the first day of class, so you are ready immediately without needing to purchase materials ahead of time.

You are automatically enrolled for immediate access. If you decide not to participate, you can opt out before the deadline.

For Students

How to Access Your Materials

eBook Access

  • Log into your Brightspace course
  • Navigate to the Content section
  • Select the VitalSource or eBook link

Courseware Access

  • Pearson (MyLab): Use the access code sent via email or within Brightspace
  • Cengage, McGraw Hill CONNECT, WileyPlus, Achieve: Access directly through your course link
  • If prompted for payment, stop and contact the bookstore

Cost Savings

Inclusive Access pricing is negotiated to be significantly lower than traditional textbook pricing, with many students saving up to 40% compared to new print materials.

Opt-Out Information

If you choose not to participate, you must opt out before the add/drop deadline. Once opted out, your access will be removed and no charges will be applied.

  • Dropping a course before the deadline automatically opts you out
  • No refunds are issued after the opt-out deadline

How to Opt Out

You must complete your opt-out before the add/drop deadline.

  • Email bookstore@nmhu.edu before the deadline
  • Or use the opt-out link provided in your Inclusive Access email
Look for the email titled:
“Inclusive Access: Your Course Materials Are Ready”

Requests submitted after the deadline may not be processed.
